Deep Inside

Looking into my personality deep down inside I see many things - doubts, success, love, hatred, impatient, motivation, willingness, compassion, liberal - many things that I will share with you later on.

Do we really know who we are? Do we really look deep inside and figure out the things that make our personalities? How can we be better, in life, in relationships, at work? Who teaches us?

At a glance we believe we are better than the rest of the world. Specifically, we consider ourselves better than our partners, friends, family members, that person next to us. We don't stop and look deep inside us, we don't evaluate ourselves, we don't take into account our  own personal experiences.

We know what we must do, we say it, but we don't apply those things that are definitely must needed in our lives. There is a saying that says, "It's easier something said than done." I am a firm believer in this phrase, including myself in the mix.

Why? Well, we are human beings, we are stuck in a dream, some of us actually accomplish those dreams, but sadly, some of us don't.

In the heat of the moment, we tent to do things, react in a certain way, say words that might or might not hurt others, loose control... We shouldn't, but why do we do it? Because we don't know our personalities. Because, we must look deep inside.

To conclude with this short posting, I want to leave each and everyone of you with a sensational week, remember one thing, 1). Look deep inside, recognize who you are, give in, and try to understand what others want from you.

From Austin, Texas, traffic... Till next time

Going Back in Time

Viewers, spectators, readers, a moment from before, that today we take for granted, a trip to an old-fashioned time that most of us don't use anymore, but it is still important.

Labor intensive, hours and hours of machinery working, high ceilings surrounding the printing press, pressing down on each sheet of paper, three different colors, blue, yellow, red. Manpower making sure there is no errors.

All the moving pieces coming together at once, several heads working, and only for one purpose, to create one great newspaper.

Dark photography rooms with access to the photos that reveal our day-to-day local struggles/scandals as well as around the world.

Different sections, the front page, metro and state, sports and fashion, giving us the greatest events that are happening daily around us.

You cannot describe this experience with words, you have to go and experience the sentiment yourself. The odor, the ink, the touchy-sensation of the paper when is on your hand after it freshly come out of the printing press, the things that compost a newspaper, it is indeed something that we have forgotten about.

Overwhelming, big and spacious, but yet at the same time the right amount of space needed, in order to put such a great team into collaboration together, to where several minds work as one.

Our century indeed has forgotten, our new generation,  the use of electronics, which has let us to achieve the same purpose, but how did you use to feel when your fingers touched the pages of a news paper several years ago?  while having a cup of coffee, tea, a glass of juice, or water. It's an experience that you will never have again, and the only way to experience it again it's by doing what you've already done in the pass.

Keep it alive!

Commitment

Whenever you find your passion, commit to what you think is better for you. At the end, anything that satisfy your soul will accomplish that desire. How do you see yourself? What can you do?

Maybe a little running or maybe a few seat-ups while watching tv. Anything is possible, and if I can do it, you can do it.

Remember your childhood dreams, and the things that made you who you are today. Look at the people around you. A better life come to those that are willing to do the hard part of the deal. Less health problems, a better chance to stay alive in a healthy way!

Now, do you think you can commit? Well, I think so!

A passion, dwelling inside of you, an animal that wants to come out, but you don't let it. Today is that day, the day when you say, I will commit, I will change my future and forget about my pass, I will overcome every obstacle, I can do it! I can do it all!

Love, is a part of you, is a part that you don't only feel it when presented a woman, or in a relationship, love is taking care of yourself, your body, your soul, your mind.

Be strong, be you, commit!

Company Trip! for Free!!!

As I'm doing my daily duties at work and engaging every customer with my full attention in order to help each and everyone I encounter, my General Manager (GM) calls me to his office with a very strict voice to make it sound as if I have done something wrong. Well, as I get inside the office I say "Hello, how are you doing?" and he says, "Luis, Luis, Luis..." and so I'm nervous and think something is really wrong; when all of the sudden my GM says, "You won it man!" and I had no idea of what he was talking about…

Anyways, long story short, I won a trip to Puerto Rico for 5 days all inclusive, resort, travel fair, food, and a lot of other things that I've gotten along the way, but the most important thing is, that it was not only for me, it was all inclusive for me and someone else of my choosing to take with me to the beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico.
As you may know I speak Spanish, it is my native language. In Puerto Rico, people speak Spanish, which is their native language as well.

I'm super excited, I never thought that just because you do your job, you'll get compensated. Now, this only happens when you give 110% with everything that you do. My favorite words, coming from my father are; Choices, and Commitment.

PS: Can't wait to be at the beach!!!

Unexpected Habits

Just an expression, you may call it a thought, art, greatful moment, or a revelation time, it doesn't really matter.

Life keeps going, no matter how drunk you wake up in the morning, no matter how hard you party the night before, no matter if you don't drink and just live in the moment.

Have you stopped and look at your surroundings? Well, this is the thing, if you do, you will notice that there is employment, unemployment, working people, beggars, people driving around, just for fun, others commuting, bar tenders tending bars, people that will have an ocasional talk to you just because they came out of an interview that was just great! And those that just stand there and be friendly and social no matter the circumstances...

Social people, alone people, those that go out or don't, those around the world, everybody in a nudsheld gives us just a little bit more of the world we live in... And that is just life!

Always Remember to Come Back

Readers, followers, admires, first I want to apologize for my two years of absence here in Blog. Now I’m back in full gears, and I will be posting fresh content so you can read about my last two years adventures, acquired knowledge, and hopefully you could also see a few entertaining videos in one or two of my other social media sites.

Something that I think about when I’m laying in bed, right before going to sleep, questions that I think everybody thinks about…

Title: Enough

When is it enough?
Is it when you hit rock bottom?
Or when you are in the happiest moment in your life?
What do you do?
Would you drink?
Meet friends?
Go out dancing?
Go out in a date?
Listen to music?
Decide between rum, wine, or tequila?
Would you stay home and watch a movie?
Make a phone call and reach out?
Call your mother of father?
Would you take a vacation?
Or go on a cruise with completely strange people?
Would you try to find a new job?
Or finish school?
Would you move to a different state?
Or maybe internationally?
Would you try to date online?
Would you cook?
Would you throw a party at your place?
Or would you go to church and try to seek something, a super natural power?
Would you write?
Or would you simply wait for a good thing to happen?
Would you go to the gym?
Would you go to a fast food restaurant?
Or would you eat healthy food and stay home?
Would you just get married, even if you don't know the other person long enough?
Would you be scare?
Or happy?
Would you share a life experience with a complete stranger?
Or call your sister?
Would you just go to Facebook, Instagram, twitter, and like someone status?
Or maybe just play a random game on your phone?
Would you ask one of this questions to yourself?
Would you get inspire?
Would you think about your genes, your family, your life, the way you live, the way you spend money, your bills, your future?
Are you old enough to make the right decision?
Are you confident?
Are you sure?
So, what do you do?
When is it enough?

If you are following, think about this questions, and next time I will delight you with another new post.
