Going Back in Time

Viewers, spectators, readers, a moment from before, that today we take for granted, a trip to an old-fashioned time that most of us don't use anymore, but it is still important.

Labor intensive, hours and hours of machinery working, high ceilings surrounding the printing press, pressing down on each sheet of paper, three different colors, blue, yellow, red. Manpower making sure there is no errors.

All the moving pieces coming together at once, several heads working, and only for one purpose, to create one great newspaper.

Dark photography rooms with access to the photos that reveal our day-to-day local struggles/scandals as well as around the world.

Different sections, the front page, metro and state, sports and fashion, giving us the greatest events that are happening daily around us.

You cannot describe this experience with words, you have to go and experience the sentiment yourself. The odor, the ink, the touchy-sensation of the paper when is on your hand after it freshly come out of the printing press, the things that compost a newspaper, it is indeed something that we have forgotten about.

Overwhelming, big and spacious, but yet at the same time the right amount of space needed, in order to put such a great team into collaboration together, to where several minds work as one.

Our century indeed has forgotten, our new generation,  the use of electronics, which has let us to achieve the same purpose, but how did you use to feel when your fingers touched the pages of a news paper several years ago?  while having a cup of coffee, tea, a glass of juice, or water. It's an experience that you will never have again, and the only way to experience it again it's by doing what you've already done in the pass.

Keep it alive!
